Fun and Meaningful Easter Activity for You and Your Kids

(Taken from my daughter Marcia's facebook page. I stopped at their house to day and Ben and Cabeb told me the story of the empty tomb!)

Ingredients:

1 roll- Refrigerator Biscuits (pillsbury or similar)
Large Marshmallows - 1 per biscuit
Melted Butter
Sugar and Cinnamon mixture- Just enough to cover the buns.

Directions:

Wrap one biscuit around 1 large marshmallow. Dip in melted butter and roll in cinnamon/sugar. Bake as directed on biscuit pkg. The marshmallow will melt and the bun will be hollow inside.

Share a passage like John 20 6:7 with your children or Sunday School Class.
When Mary told the disciples the stone had been removed form the entrance, the disciples ran to the tomb. John was the first to arrive and look inside. Peter entered and saw the linen that had been wrapped around Jesus lying flat as if the body had evaporated.
The tomb was EMPTY. (just like the he’s alive buns are empty)

Note: Make sure to pinch the dough together as much as you can. Some will still pull apart and marshmallow will spill out. Also, your pan will be a sticky mess, but it washes with a little scrubbing. My boys loved them! It was a great way to share the Easter Story. We're going to make more on Saturday so that they can take them to their class at church on Sunday
